Many people were looking forward to trying out Final Fantasy XIV with the start of the game's open beta, but bad news! The open beta has been delayed.
The game's beta portal site delivered the last minute notice today. Apparently, major bugs were discovered in the game, forcing the delay beyond the scheduled 11:00am start on 1st September 2010. Further specifics were not shared. Square Enix promised an announcement once the new date is finalized.
