Capcom Japan have formally announced that Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City will release in Japan on 26th April 2012, priced ¥6990 on both PS3 and Xbox 360, with a certification rating of D CERO. As hugely expected, the game will be released in Japan, with the usual name change from Resident Evil to BioHazard.
Capcom Japan have also announced that along with the standard edition, the publisher will sell a Limited Edition in Japan exclusively through e-Capcom. The ¥9,490 set includes a copy of the game, a 40 page full colour Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Concept Guide book, a Raccoon City Secret Report DVD with making of footage and trailers, a stealth-themed IC card case, an IC card stealth sticker, and an original box.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is due to launch for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in North America on 20th March 2012 and in Europe on 23rd March 2012. Meanwhile, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City will arrive in Japan as BioHazard: Operation Raccoon City on 26th April 2012 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with the country receiving no PC version of the game.
