Just lately, SEGA have been making PC owners fall in love with them by providing many of the recent Sonic titles as new releases. These games include Sonic Generations, Sonic 4: Episode 1 and Sonic CD, and now it seems like fans are taking advantage of the situation by bringing those stages from Sonic Unleashed (which kicked off Modern Sonic's current breakneck speed style) to the platform very soon as a patch to the PC version of Sonic Generations.

Over of Sonic Retro's Forums, some of their members called Dario FF, Twilightzoney and Chimera have been hard at work trying to bring the stages from Sonic Unleashed over to Sonic Generations' engine, and in one week, they have come up with some brilliant work. So far, Windmill Isle Act 2, Dragon Road Act 1 and Cool Edge Act 1 have all made a partial conversion. The group admits that while progress is going well, there is still much work to be done.

For more on the progress of their work, check out this topic. If you can't see it, here's a lovely gallery of photos of their work so far.

There are also a lovely selection of videos to actually convey what the team is doing in regards with bringing the Sonic Unleashed levels to the PC version of Sonic Generations over on the users YouTube page. But for now you can check out the latest one below :

Sonic Generations is out now worldwide on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Windows PC and Nintendo 3DS.
