Genre : Action RPG

About This Game : In this superhero-filled action-RPG, players assume the roles of more than twenty Marvel Super Heroes including Spider-Man, Wolverine, Blade and Captain America, and through their actions determine the fate of both planet Earth and the Marvel universe. The game features total team customization, where players create their own team name, icon and vehicle, as well as establish their team reputation as they play throughout the story. Battle the world's most notorious Marvel Super Villains in the air, underwater, and on the ground, using grappling, blocking and dodging moves, and even environmental objects as one and two-handed weapons. The storyline is designed open, and the missions that you choose to accept affect the outcome of the Marvel Universe. Also featured are competitive and co-operative multiplayer modes.

Gameplay : This game is the best Marvel Game out so far, the gameplay is vastly superior to both of the previous X-Men Legends games. Score 7/10

Learning Curve : The controls are rather easy to learn and bosses are a little too easy. Compared to a game like X-Men Legends 2 or even Justice League Heroes, which are both crazy hard during the boss battles. Easy/Hard Difficulty

Graphics/Sound : This game looks really awesome and the voice acting is prime. Score 7/10

Lasting Appeal : The collectibles are way too easy to find compared to X-Men Legends, but said simulations can be really brutal. Score 7/10

The Whole Package : You can get this game very cheaply, the story is overall competent and it is a must have for any comic book geek and marvel fans alike. Score 8/10

Overall Rating : This game is a lot of fun, a must have for any Marvel or Super Hero fan and on top of that, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance can be found everywhere for rather cheap prices. If you are a mega Marvel fan like I am then you're going to want to grab the two-disc collectors edition with the making of features bundled with it.
