HIVE Division have announced today that part two of the Metal Gear Solid: Philanthropy fan-film has entered development. The announcement comes just over 18 months after part one was released to the public on the 27th September 2009, and that development for part two has been under way for the last three months and will take another two-three years to complete.

Part of the announcement stated that the script for both parts two and three have already been wrote, plus the cast from part one will be redeeming their roles in part two as the story will continue directly from the end of the previous film. Metal Gear Solid: Philanthropy part two was also given a working title of "The Secrets of Eldridge".

Metal Gear Solid: Philanthropy - The Secrets of Eldridge is scheduled to be released online for free somewhere between 2013-2014.

UPDATE : Yes this is an April Fools Joke, sorry if we got your hopes up, Metal Gear Solid: Philanthropy - Part Two has never been announced by HIVE Division! I hope you all enjoyed it, and had fun searching the internet for information about this elusive news.

A comment has been found on Twitter by Hideo Kojima, where he posted some feedback about Meal Gear Solid: Philanthropy. A fan asked him if he had watched the movie, and he actually replied … Well, you can read it here (on official Hideo Kojima's Twitter).
