GTTV to Reveal "Huge New PS3 Exclusive" on 26th April 2012 Links : Comments | Forum Topic | Posted by Matt Stanyon | Date : Saturday 21st April 2012 @ 20:00 PM GMT
Just a few days ago, JeuxVideo.fr was teasing that they would be announcing a major PlayStation 3 title on 2nd May 2012, and now
is seems like the company is set to reveal yet another huge PS3 game on 26th April 2012, because Geoff Keighley,
GTTV host has taken to Twitter today and said :
"As the tv guide listings say, yes, next Thurs on GTTV we are unveiling a huge new PS3 exclusive with first game footage. More soon!"
There's no word on what the game might be, but there are constant rumors of a Syphon Filter game in development for the PlayStation 3 (as well as for the PlayStation Vita).
The thing is that Sony working with a ton of first and third party developers on unannounced projects, like a new shooter IP at Sony Santa Monica, SCEE are creating a AAA Character Action Game for the Move, which could be the LittleBigPlanet MMO, Quantic Dream are developing something awesome, SuperBot Entertainment are probably making PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale and Guerrilla Games working on a new IP. On top of that, there are also rumours of Gran Turismo 6, or Eight Days and The Getaway being put back into development.
And then there are the new IPs from developers we don't even know have partnered with Sony, but our favourite, is of course for a possible Syphon Filter 4, which was seen many rumours over the last year, but for now, be sure to come back next Thursday to find out what the game is (or, knowing Sony, Wednesday for the leak).
'Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror' & 'Logan's Shadow' Discounted on EU PSN Links : Comments | Forum Topic | Posted by Matt Stanyon | Date : Wednesday 18th April 2012 @ 10:00 AM GMT
Australian and UK PSP fans can now enjoy a selection of old titles at a fraction of the cost, because Sony has dropped the price on a number of the PSP titles currently available on the UK and Australian PlayStation store.
Some of the titles included are among the best the console has to offer, including Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror and Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow receiving the price cut. Both games have been dropped from
€19.99/£15.99/AUD $29.95 to
€7.99/£6.99/AUD $11.95, which is a real bargain.
Major PS3 Exclusive Reveal on 2nd May 2012? Links : Comments | Forum Topic | Posted by Matt Stanyon | Date : Tuesday 17th April 2012 @ 13:00 PM GMT
JeuxVideo.fr is teasing a major PlayStation 3 announce on 2nd May 2012. The French site will show off the new game in a live stream video. It's unclear whether the reveal will be named elsewhere beforehand (like the PlayStation Facebook page) or whether it's an exclusive; auto-translate tells us we will know the title soon enough.
Rumoured PlayStation 3 reveals include God of War 4, a LittleBigPlanet MMO, Gran Turismo 6, a new Killzone, and of course our favourite, a possible Syphon Filter 4, which was seen many rumours over the last year.
Sony Teases God of War 4 Reveal for Next Week? Where's 'Syphon Filter 4'? Links : Comments | Forum Topic | Posted by Matt Stanyon | Date : Thursday 12th April 2012 @ 15:00 PM GMT
The word "vengeance" and the blood splatter on the image smacks of God of War to us, but Sony's saying nothing on the matter right now.
Speculation is rife the image relates to Sony's long-rumoured God of War sequel, which has been spotted on a raft of developer CVs and online shops over the last 12 months. Adding weight to this is the appearance of the letters "GOW" in the image's full URL. More specifically, "gowa_fb", which perhaps stands for "God of War announcement Facebook".
A previous rumour said that when God of War 4 was announced, a full reveal for Syphon Filter 4 would accompany it. And now that we know that God of War 4 will more than likely be revealed next week, the main question on our lips now is where is Syphon Filter 4? and when will be finally be announced? Come on Sony, please reveal it next week.
